What does a school day look like in Micro School?
By default, all classes start at 9 am at the assigned Micro School’s timezone. Parents can talk to the Micro School leader to see if there is a possibility to change the Michro School’s schedule. Some Micro Schools may have a different schedule. Go toView or Change Micro School Time to view your Micro School schedule.
Parents can also change students to another Micro School at a time that better fits their needs.
This is the default schedule (Mon-Thu):
* All lessons are available on the platform. If the student is not able to attend the Virtual Gathering, the student can still complete the lesson whenever they have time to catch up. Virtual Gatherings are not recorded.
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Each day (Mon–Thurs) begins with a Character Core 90-minute, live, coached session with your student’s Micro School class.
10:30 - 12 pm: Students have 90 minutes to work on personal or team projects and their math, writing, or other assignments.
12 pm - 1:00 pm: Then students can join an optional math or writing lab every day at noon (Mountain Time) to get help if needed.
1:00 pm - rest of the day: Students and parents can add other events to their daily calendar, too…and there’s plenty of time for other things!
