What is Micro School?
Micro School is the AHS Worldwide 6th-8th student-led program facilitated by coaches, blending academics with faith. Micro School groups students into different groups called micro-schools. All micro-schools meet virtually or in person with a coach to complete lessons, socialize, and learn together. All the groups are led by a learning coach.
AHS Wordwide Micro School provides a comprehensive academic solution that prepares students for success in high school, including math, writing, science, fine arts, and a diverse offering of elective skills courses. Students use the Micro School platform to access pre-recorded videos and activities to complete lessons. They also use the platform to join virtual gatherings with their coach and other students.
Micro School provides accredited services, including grading/feedback on assignments and assessments, open math and writing labs, term/semester grade cards, and many other social and academic events, activities, and competitions.
